Chandler Arizona is truly a special place to live. I can recall when this area was just a sleepy little town. Today, it has grown in to a thriving city where jobs, schools, housing and entertainment have all combined to make an amazing place to live, work and play. It is bordered to the northwest by Tempe, to the north by Mesa, to the west by Phoenix, to the south by the Gila River Indian Community, and to the east by Gilbert.

With a population of about 260,000, Chandler is Arizona's 4th largest city and is conveniently located 20 minutes from Sky Harbor International Airport. Home to many technology companies, Chandler also houses many satellite locations for companies including Intel, PayPal and Garmin.

Parents will be glad to know that Chandler also offers a variety of public, charter and private schools. The Chandler Unified School District is highly rated and operates on a modified year-round schedule. Alternatively, Kyrene, another excellent school district, serves the northwest part of the city with a traditional schedule to include a longer summer vacation.

But in the last several years, it's Downtown Chandler that has really made a name for itself. Tons of fun restaurants, bars and shops draw people from across the Valley who enjoy its walkable streets and eclectic vibe. Additionally there are more than 50 events held here each year.

Speaking of events, Chandler's Tumbleweed Park is home to the famous Ostrich Festival! Fun for everyone, this festival has big name entertainment, over 100 rides and attractions, pig races, a petting zoo, more than 50 food vendors, and of course, ostriches. Over 100,000 people attend the 3 day event every year!
