Are you the outdoorsy type? Great! There’s a really nice (and big) community park located within the community with open spaces, trees, play areas for the kids and more. On the north side of the community, you have access to miles of walking / biking trails along the Tempe canal paths. Just west of the community, you will find the Tempe YMCA AND the one and only Kenny Mac! Kenny Mac is actually called the Ken McDonald golf course. It’s a Tempe treasure, for sure.
Do you like to eat? Oh, good. The amazing Crepe Bar is located at the NW corner of Rural and Elliot. There’s also community favorites like P. Croissant and Clockwork Pizza. On the SE corner of Rural and Elliot you’ll find Squarz Bakery ( Oh. My. YUM!) along with The Vine and Passage to India. There’s also a Sprouts grocery store on the corner. There’s a bunch of other great spots located very close. Feel free to call for the culinary scoop. 🙂
How about highly rated schools? Yep, you’ll fall within the Kyrene School District, too! Good schools are things that tend to keep property values stable in an area. That’s another win for this part of town!
