Parents Want Tempe Union High School District To Keep Their Kids In School

At a meeting last week, parents learned that the Tempe Union High School District offered an online version of returning to school or an option to attend 1 day per week.

The response to this news has been quick to travel to parents and many of them are very concerned about the plan.

One Day Is Not Enough:

Parents and students will gather at the TUHSD offices today at 3:30pm in an effort to ask the district to provide more options for in-person learning.

The distict office is located at 500 W Guadalupe Road in Tempe.

The District office is located near Kyrene and Guadalupe here in Tempe.

The Tempe Union High School District include schools in Tempe, Chandler and in Phoenix / Ahwatukee.

Hundreds of parents have rallied together in the past week to flood the Board with their concerns about this plan.

The “Keep Our Kids In School” movement is looking to have more discussions about this topic.

This is a joint effort between parents and students from McClintock, Marcos, Corona, Mountain Pointe and Desert Vista High Schools.

In fact, it was one of the main things that has prompted my wife to run for the Board this year.
